Anchorage Digital Launches Aptos Mainnet Custody Support at Launch
Anchorage Digital is pleased to announce its role as one of the preferred institutional custodians for Aptos at mainnet launch. Aptos is a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain, built with safety and user experience in mind, enabling developers to build scalable, consumer-ready projects.
The preexisting integration between the country’s first operational federally-chartered digital asset bank and the ultra-efficient blockchain is substantial:
- Aptos’s highly-scalable blockchain is based on the consensus mechanisms originally created by the project’s developers for the Diem blockchain.
- Anchorage Digital’s engineering team helped support the innovation from the early days of Diem to the testnet phases of Aptos.
